This workshop is FREE for teachers! 

Attendees will be introduced to wind energy and wind technology.  Your time at the workshop will be split between hands on lessons related to wind energy and wind technology.

Teachers will leave the workshop with a Basic PVC Turbine Kit, Curriculum Materials and other items.  You will receive enough materials to replicate the lessons back in your classroom.  No prior knowledge of wind energy is required to attend. 
 

Teachers who attend the workshop will also be eligible to attend the opening reception of the American Wind Energy Association annual conference on the same day FREE of charge.  This is a great opportunity to walk the floor with the people and industries that comprise the wind industry today.

Depending on your experience with wind energy it may be helpful to read a little before you arrive.  While not required feel free to browse the wind energy background information here and feel much more confident when you get to the workshop.
