SUMMARY:PA State Solar Competition 2025-2026
DESCRIPTION:Solar Challenge:\nTeams will design a structure that incorporates solar power in order to to have load(s) power on with a home/smarthome. For the 2025-2026 PA KidWind Solar Competition\, teams will be required to use the national KidWind Solar Rulebook. Do not use PA’s Solar previous challenge (pumping water). \n\nPenn State University Park\, Innovation Hub\n\nMore Information\n\nThe design will be evaluated based on the team’s creativity in applying and innovating with solar device concepts while learning to work with solar photovoltaics (PV).\nJudges will examine the structure and ask questions about the team’s design process and application. The solar-powered design will be evaluated on the team’s thoughtful\, creative\, and resourceful design\, the innovation and complexity of your circuitry.
