SUMMARY:2026 Alaska Clean Energy Olympics
DESCRIPTION:The Alaska Clean Energy Olympics event is the culmination of months of student engineering. During the event\, teams will test the performance of their wind and solar projects\, present their project\, design process\, and data to a panel of expert judges\, complete a mystery instant-challenge\, and take a clean energy knowledge test. \nTeams are split into three age divisions (4-5 grade\, 6-8 grade\, 9-12 grade). The top three teams in each division will earn prizes. Special recognition prizes will also be awarded based on creativity and team vibes. \nLunch will be provided.

SUMMARY:2026 Statewide Michigan KidWind Final
DESCRIPTION:The third annual Michigan KidWind Challenge is a wind turbine construction and testing event for students in grades 4-5\, 6-8\, and 9-12. Grade-level students will design\, build\, test\, and compete using innovative wind turbine blade geometries and gearing solutions. Winners in each grade category will be invited to attend the 2026 World KidWind Challenge at the  University of Wisconsin-Madison campus from May 17th-20th. \nAt the Michigan KidWind Challenge\, student teams will:\n● Test their energy output in a competition-grade wind tunnel\n● Present their teams design\, data\, and overall story in front of a panel of expert judges \nQuestions?
