SUMMARY:Spark Sessions: Energy Justice
DESCRIPTION:Each month we will host a guest to do a deep dive into one element of renewable energy for the KidWind network. Organizers\, educators\, and students are all invited to join. \nThis month’s Spark Session will focus on Energy Justice and feature presentations from the following speakers: \nAlison Knasin\, Lab Manager at Energy Justice Lab. The Energy Justice Lab is a research collaboration between Indiana University and the University of Pennsylvania. The Lab’s mission is to explore\, measure\, and improve the equity and justice dimensions of society’s ongoing energy transition. \nRozina Kanchwala\, Executive Director at Eco.Logic & Director of EDICT (Empowering Diverse Climate Talent) Partnership at Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI). Eco.Logic leverages art and education to build connections and spark environmental action. The Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) is building a multiracial\, diverse\, and inclusive community of changemakers working across sectors and disciplines to lead an equitable\, decarbonized\, and resilient energy ecosystem.
