KidWind Challenge in Thailand 2025 is a hands-on, project-based competition where high school students design, build, and test small wind turbines. Hosted at the School of Science, KMITL, the event aims to spark creativity, promote STEM education, and inspire future innovators in renewable energy.
This year’s journey began with an online seminar focused on wind energy and engineering design, attracting over 400 students from across Thailand. The top 40 teams advanced to the semi-final onsite round, where they demonstrated their skills and knowledge through live turbine testing and presentations.
Now, we’re headed into the most exciting stage—the final round, featuring the top 20 teams, coming this August 2nd, 2025, at the School of Science, KMITL.
