Each month we will host a guest to do a deep dive into one element of renewable energy for the KidWind network. Organizers, educators, and students are all invited to join. This month, we will hear about energy optimization from Chris Torline from Trane. Chris will be talking about advanced energy optimization strategies for buildings and his work with schools using thermal storage, AI, and data analytics.

With a 25-year career dedicated to analyzing and optimizing building systems for performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability, Chris is a seasoned expert in his field.Â
In his role as an Educational Programs Engineer, Chris collaborates with schools, colleges, and universities to integrate technology into inspirational teaching methods. He champions work-based and project-based learning opportunities, believing that real and relevant projects can transform student anxiety and disconnection into a visionary and fulfilling future.
Chris’s greatest passion lies in helping others realize their potential to create new realities for themselves. By teaching the skills of creating from the inside out, he inspires individuals to envision and achieve a life better than they ever imagined.
