Virtual Visit Request

Our new cohort of KidWind Fellows is available to virtually visit with teams preparing for a KidWind Challenge as they troubleshoot and refine their project design. These visits are designed as consultations with individual teams. Teams must come with prepared questions and be looking for specific feedback on their design and testing process.

A few guidelines!

During the virtual visits, Fellows can:
  • Meet one on one with a KidWind team that is actively working on their design
  • Answer students' pre-prepared questions
  • Provide helpful tips and resources to address the team's design questions
  • Meet with multiple teams in one class IF they meet with each team separately. For example, passed around on a laptop OR multiple Fellows are schedule to each meet with separate teams
Fellows cannot:
  • Meet with an entire class or multiple teams at one time
  • Be expected to prepare a presentation or teach a lesson
  • Meet with a team without the coach/teacher who made the request present
  • Visit in-person

As a reminder, visits are only available for student teams registered for a KidWind Challenge event working on their wind turbine or solar home design.
