The Illinois KidWind Challenge Jr. is an exciting, hands-on event designed for middle and high schoolers. This challenge offers a unique opportunity for students to explore renewable energy through wind power.
During the event, students will team up to design and build wind turbine blades for pre-assembled towers. We will provide all necessary materials and have a wind tunnel on-site to test each team’s turbine designs. There is no preparation required beforehand—teachers and students simply show up ready to learn and have fun.
The KidWind Challenge Jr. is an excellent way for students and their coaches to build confidence, ignite interest in clean energy, and gain valuable, hands-on STEM experience. Stay tuned for more details, and we look forward to welcoming you to another inspiring and educational event!
Lunch will be provided.
