STEM Pioneers Regional Educator Workshop Powering the Future: Energy & Engineering in Elementary STEM A KidWind Regional Workshop for Grades 4 & 5 Educators

Workshop Overview

Join fellow elementary educators for a free, engaging day of hands-on STEM learning centered around renewable energy, engineering design, and real-world problem-solving. Participants will explore KidWind investigations, collect and analyze data using Vernier technology, and discover classroom-ready lessons aligned with the West Virginia Science Standards.

Whether you are new to engineering or looking to expand your STEM instruction, this workshop will provide practical strategies and resources you can immediately implement with your students.

Who Should Attend?

• 4th and 5th Grade West Virginia Teachers
• One Teacher Per School
• No Prior Experience Required

Learning Outcomes

• Prepare students for participation in a KidWind Challenge competition.
