Join us on Saturday, November 14, for a FREE, hands-on clean energy workshop at the Boys & Girls Club of Craig.
The workshop is facilitated by the CSU Energy Institute and is open to any science, STEM, or CTE educator working with students in grades 4–12, whether you teach in a classroom, run an afterschool program, or work with young people in your community.
We’ll start with the basics of energy and the landscape and science of wind energy, then we’ll get hands-on with activities like experimenting with blade design, and wrap up with an intro to activity guides and lessons you can bring back to your classroom, club, or program. Every participant receives a $200 stipend for attending and leaves with a KidWind Basic Wind Experiment Kit plus additional classroom materials, over $200 in materials.
Space is limited to 15 educators, so register by November 1 to save your seat!
