The Invenergy KidWind Challenge Junior is an exciting, hands-on challenge that offers a unique opportunity for students to explore renewable energy through wind power. Thank you to Invenergy for graciously hosting this event at their new Center of Excellence!
What is a KidWind Challenge Junior?
During the event, students will team up to design and build wind turbine blades for pre-assembled towers. We will provide all necessary materials and have a wind tunnel on-site to test each team’s turbine designs. There is no preparation required beforehand—teachers and students simply show up ready to learn and have fun.
The KidWind Challenge Jr. is an excellent way for students and their teachers to build confidence, ignite interest in clean energy, and gain valuable, hands-on STEM experience.
