Lubbock Renewable Energy Teacher Training

Join us for a KidWind Challenge Coach Workshop at Texas Tech University on November 19th from 9 am to 4 pm. Designed for K-12 educators and/or team coaches participating in our TTU Regional KidWind Challenge, this engaging hands-on workshop aims to equip attendees with essential knowledge, tools, and confidence to integrate renewable energy STEM concepts into their curricula effectively and to use in preparing their students for the upcoming Challenge. Hosted by our TTU Collegiate Wind Team and with a guest instructor from KidWind, the workshop offers an opportunity for participants to receive materials for their KidWind Challenge teams or classroom students to use in building their turbines. The morning session will cover basic solar circuit and wind energy concepts while the afternoon session will take a deeper dive into utilizing those concepts.
