PA State Solar Competition 2024-2025

Solar Challenge:

Teams will design a structure that incorporates solar power in order to pump water for an application of their choosing in a remote environment.

• The design will be evaluated be measuring how much water you can pump during the challenge under a variable light condition.
• Judges will examine the structure and ask questions about the team’s design process and application. The solar-powered design will be evaluated on the team’s thoughtful, creative, and resourceful design, the innovation and complexity of your circuitry.
