The 6th Annual RI WindWinRI Wind Turbine Challange

The 6th Annual RI Wind Turbine Competition is open to all RI high school and middle school student teams. The high school teams can choose to compete in the KidWind generator or Advanced-homemade generator category.   Middle school teams will be focused on blade design and will competing in a new category using a KidWind Firefly.

The Challenge is comprised of low and hire speed tunnel testing, team interviews with judges from industry and higher education, evaluation of each team’s workspace & poster design and an Instant Challenge.

The winning high school team in both generator categories qualifies for an invitation to KidWind World Competition – held this year in Wisconsin.

Parents and observers are welcome to attend.
