In this FREE workshop, we review energy and electricity basics, design and test blades in a wind tunnel, explore related energy education resources and curricula. Learn about the Michigan KidWind Challenge and gain tips for coaching student teams through the process of designing and constructing small-scale turbines.
Who will benefit from this workshop? Grades 3-12 educators who teach alternative energies, environmental education, STEM, and Science Olympiad Coaches.

Certificates of attendance will be provided upon request. SCHECH’s will be made available as well (if you want SCHECH’s, please provide your PIC # when you register). While the workshop is free, there is a $25 fee for SCHECH’s.
