Social Media Program Assistant

Estimated Hours: 5-10 hours per week
KidWind is looking for a part-time Social Media Program Assistant for the 2024-2025 KidWind season. Responsibilities will include creating content for KidWind’s social media and finding news stories to feature on KidWind’s website. Additional support may include communicating with members of the KidWind team to create website content and promotional materials. While this internship concludes in December, there is the possibility of continuing on as an intern or part-time employee through June.
Responsibilities
âž” Creating digital content for KidWind’s social media accounts;
âž” Curating news stories to feature on KidWind’s website;
âž” Communicating with members of the KidWind team to create and promote website content and promotional materials;
âž” Capturing live content at local KidWind events;
âž” Maintaining and organizing our digitial resources library.
Required Experience
âž” Currently enrolled in a college or university in at least their 3rd year (juniors and seniors) of undergraduate study;
âž” Major in education, STEM and clean energy related fields, marketing, PR, digital media or related discipline;
âž” Demonstrated experience developing and curating digital content;
âž” Strong organizational and planning skills.
âž” Comfortable working independently and remotely.
âž” Excellent oral communication skills and comfortable communicating with all ages.
