Project Overview
The objective of the project is to design and build a wind turbine prototype that generates the most power. The turbine used PVC blinds for blades and PVC pipes for the base. The gear mechanism uses a compound gear ratio of 32 to 1, which means that as the driver gear spins, the final driven gear spins 32 times faster thereby generating more power.
