Sugar Maple Tornadoes

The Tornadoes are a team of five 4th and 5th grade students from Sugar Maple Nature School, a free, public charter school located on hundreds of acres of land in Wisconsin. SMNS is an outdoor school and our pillars are nature, community and inquiry. The KidWind project perfectly embodies these pillars to learn through inquiry and nature and serve as stewards of our community. Cal, Isaac, Liam, Robin and Eisley are first time Kid Wind World participants and have enjoyed learning about renewable energy. They wish good luck to all the competitors!
