We are The Desert Wind Rats from Desert Mirage High School in Thermal, California. Our team consists of 2 seniors, Leo and Emily. For Leo, it his 3rd trip to Kidwind Nationals while Emily will be competing for the first time. We love the challenge of continuously trying to overcome challenges and make our turbine better and better. We can't wait to come to Arizona to compete and see what other great ideas other schools come up with.
