KidWind has facilitated over 1,200 in-person workshops over the last 21 years. Our data shows that 85% of teachers who attend a KidWind workshop try out these new materials in their classrooms. These trainings broaden educators’ knowledge of STEM topics and clean energy, explore project-based pedagogies, and provide details about participating in the KidWind Challenge. In addition, we provide clean energy classroom materials and kits at these trainings. We offer all day, half day, multiday, and year-long cohort model workshops depending on the goals, budget, and time constraints of the group.

Understanding Energy Basics & the Power Grid

A great interdisciplinary opportunity to learn about renewable energy, learn through exploring, and make great connections.

MS STEM Mentor

The KidWind program is rich both in its curriculum, competitions, and networks of connection. It has allowed our students and teachers to explore sustainable energy skills and careers as we all prepare to engage with the green economy!

It is a great opportunity to experience hands-on classroom activities, learn background information, and build connections between what your students will learn and real life scenarios.
