This May, over 800 students and coaches from 60+ regional events will travel to Phoenix, Arizona for the 2025 WORLD KIDWIND CHALLENGE! Help us make this year’s event a success by sponsoring the competition.

➜ Title Sponsorship: $25,000+
These funds help KidWind cover travel, lodging, and meals for our team, who will be traveling from across the country to Phoenix to serve as judges, facilitators, and support staff at Worlds. They also help us to provide consumable materials used during our Instant Challenges, pay for table and chair rentals, and cover expected electrical and AV cost. As you can see, Title Sponsors are integral to the success of the event. Without them, we would be unable to hold this event!
All Title Sponsors of the 2025 World KidWind Challenge will have the opportunity to speak at either the Kickoff or Awards ceremonies and will have their logos prominently displayed on the website and all marketing and branded materials at the event.

- ➜ TEAM PARTY: $10,000
- Help us celebrate this year’s World KidWind Challenge competitors at the annual Team Party! Sponsoring this party helps us to rent a youth-centered space, like an arcade, and provide transportation, food and drinks for the teams. Last year nearly 500 students and families attended our team party! Your logo will appear on all event signs at Worlds and the website, as well as table and hanging signs at the event. Your organization will also get a shoutout on the agenda distributed to teams.
- ➜ COACHES’ PARTY: $5,000
- Help us celebrate the coaches’ hard work bringing their teams to Worlds by sponsoring the coaches party. Sponsoring the party helps us secure a location and provide food at the event and give coaches from different regions an opportunity to connect. Your logo will be displayed on the hanging and table signs at this event as well as on the World KidWind Challenge agenda.
- ➜ AWARD CEREMONY: $5,000
- Top performers and other select teams will receive trophies and prizes at our closing Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 21st. These funds will cover the costs of designing and making these awards. In addition to recognition in our Worlds agenda and during the Awards Ceremony, your team will have the opportunity to present the awards to the winning teams at the ceremony.
- ➜ KIDWIND & CWC JOINT CHALLENGE: $5,000
- Each year we gather both the KidWind teams and the Collegiate Wind Competition teams for a joint challenge where we pair KidWind teams with CWC teams to complete a surprise build and test challenge. Your funds will help us to design and prepare materials for this event as well as fund three special awards for top performers. As a sponsor of this joint challenge, you will receive recognition in the KidWind Worlds and CWC agendas as well as during the Joint Challenge. In addition, members of your team will have the opportunity to volunteer during this event and present a special award to the winning teams! And if you’d like to help us design the challenge, we’re all ears!
➜ Space Sponsorship
- ➜ WIND TUNNELS: $5,000
- Sponsor one of the large KidWind wind tunnels that each team participating in the Wind Challenge uses to test their turbines. Your logo will be displayed on both sides of the wind tunnel which is placed in our highest traffic spectator area. In addition, members from your organization will have the opportunity to volunteer to help run this key competition component. We hope to have 6 wind tunnels at the event, each up for sponsorship!
- ➜ SOLAR TESTING: $5,000
- Sponsor our new solar testing rig, the Solar Blast, that each team participating in the Solar Challenge uses to test their solar home. Your logo will be displayed on both sides of the array which is placed alongside our high traffic spectator area. In addition, members from your organization will have the opportunity to volunteer to help run this key competition component. Your team can also volunteer to sit on our judges panel to see the design presentations. We hope to have 2 testing arrays at the event, each up for sponsorship!
- ➜ COACHES’ RECHARGE ROOM: $3,000
- Help us provide a bit of respite to coaches during their 12+ hour days. The REcharge room will have snacks and a coffee and tea station to help educators recharge across the event. Your logo will be displayed on a “Thank You” sign at the table and on the Worlds agenda.
- ➜ TOOL TABLES: $3,000
- Since the teams fly to the event, they are unable to bring hand tools that they need to tinker with and fix their turbines and solar structures. Help us provide stations where the teams can borrow these tools (think everything from wrenches and hand saws to solder and hot glue) and find extra blade-making materials, solar panels, and turbine parts. You will be recognized in the Worlds agenda and your logo will be displayed on each tool table.
HELP GET TEAMS TO WORLDS!
➜ TEAM TRAVEL SUPPORT FUND TARGET: $20,000
Pay into our Team Travel Support Fund. We hope to raise $20,000 to distribute to teams to cover transportation and lodging costs. All donations to this fund, at any amount, are welcome! Your logo will appear on a large “Thank You” sign in the main hall of the competition venue, on any team gear, the team’s regional and community media, and on the KidWind Worlds website.
Show Off Your Organization!
➜ Table at the Event: $2,500
Get the opportunity to promote your organization and distribute materials to the estimated 800 students, coaches, and chaperones attending the event at your own table in the competition venue. Examples of groups tabling from past events include 3D Printing Services, tool providers, and VR game studios.
