Our team consists of 4 middle school students: Evan, Charlotte, Jasper, and Maddie. We are from a small private school in Paw Paw, Michigan. Our passion is in science and hands on learning. We are extremely honored to represent Michigan at the nationals.

Turbine Titans is made up of five juniors who attend Branch Area Careers Center in Coldwater, Michigan. They are all first year students in the Engineering and CAD/CAM program. Since they were interested in exploring a career in engineering, they were challenged to enter the Michigan KidWind Challenge.

This team was built from our STEM Club. All of these students work online and come together to work on projects.

Competing in the KidWind Wind Turbine Competition has been a new and exciting experience for most of us. We have just learned so much about Wind Technology and sustainable energy, and how to work together as a team with a BIG GOAL to travel to Minneapolis.

Diego, Caleb, and Mauricio have been working very hard. They continually work to improve their turbine performance. They are super excited to be going to Worlds during their first year with KidWind.

Our team is made up of Dafne, Adrian, Miguel, and Seth. Four students from the 4th and 6th semester of electronics training at the Preparatoria Federal Lázaro Cárdenas in Tijuana, Baja California. We are interested in innovation, industrial design, engineering, and alternative energies, overall to help us solving current world problems.

The Tornadoes are a team of five 4th and 5th grade students from Sugar Maple Nature School, a free, public charter school located on hundreds of acres of land in Wisconsin. We’re from Mingdao High School in Taiwan. We’ve first participated in KidWind in Asia two years ago and founded passion and entertainment from this competition. This year we have the opportunity to go to the U.S. to meet the teams from different countries. We’re very excited and looking forward to see you all!
