Kolton, Gabriel, George, Leland, and Garrett are all in for learning new things and trying anything. They work hard and are always looking for ways to modify and make their inventions better. They are involved in many extracurricular events at school and in their community.
Hi, I’m Sandhana, and this is my first year at Worlds! I did this competition before, but couldn’t make it to the National level. I’m so excited to compete this year!
This is the teams first time working with KidWind and they are really excited. They are extremely diligent and hard workers who pull from each other.

Hello! We are Harper and Grace, also known as PB&J Power! We are from the Londonderry School in Harrisburg, PA. We have learned so much this year during the regional and state competitions and can’t wait to see what we can learn next!
We are Kenya, DeLord, Jessica, Kendall, Manny and Derick and our team is Power of the Sun! We are 4th graders at PA Steam Academy in Harrisburg, Pa. This project has been so much fun.
Mervo 110110 is made up of 2 juniors (class of 25) from Mervo High School in Baltimore, MD. This year was their second time competing in KidWind and the first time they will complete in Nationals. They are excited to represent the school and the district.
The AvegHERS are a group of 6th grade girls from Charlottesville, Va. This is our second year of competing in KidWind, we worked all year to make it to nationals and we are very excited.
The Bement Cyclones are a team of four 8th grade students from Bement Middle School which is located in Central Illinois. Addison, David, Madelyn, and Silas are first time Kid Wind participants and designed their wind turbine in their 8th grade STEM class. They are excited to go to the national competition to learn more about renewable energy.
