We are The 2 Dominators, two 8th graders (Abel and Yubraj) from Sand Creek Middle School in Albany, New York. We have been participating in the Kidwind Competition for 3 years now. We are glad to represent South Colonie at Worlds!

We are Engineering III/IV students from Smithfield, VA. Our two seniors, Shelby and Jacob, were part of The Goon Squad national team from 2023. Our two newest members, Katie and Seneca, joined in the Fall of 2023.

We are the Three HEN’s from Charlottesville, VA. This is our first year competing in the KidWind Challenge and we are so excited. For us this started out as a class project and now we’re heading to Minneapolis!

THS Windbreakers is excited to meet and compete with other students in highlighting the sustainability of renewable energy. Our team has put a lot of work into our design and we continually challenging each other to excel. We can’t wait to see everyone in Minneapolis.

Competing in the KidWind Wind Turbine Competition has been a new and exciting experience for most of us. We have just learned so much about Wind Technology and sustainable energy, and how to work together as a team with a BIG GOAL to travel to Minneapolis.

This team works well together and can’t wait to share what they’ve learned about solar power with others.

Team Avalanche is from the heart of the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia. We love to ski so we created a solar powered Ski Resort!

We are Team Brittany and we are a group of AP physics 2 students from Hopewell, Pennsylvania. This is our second year competing in the challenge and this year we are focused on turbine power output.
