This is a FREE training! Join KidWind and learn how to explore the power of wind energy to then teach it in your classroom. KidWind’s professional development program offers hands-on training to teach energy concepts to students in grades 4-12. Through interactive activities, attendees gain the skills and knowledge needed to integrate clean energy topics into their curriculum. KidWind’s program uses circuitry and wind turbines to help educators engage students in learning about clean energy technologies, the grid, and workforce development. The training emphasizes real-world applications, problem-solving, and STEM skills, empowering educators to inspire the next generation of innovators.
What to expect:
- Attendees will receive ~$150 in classroom materials during the workshop.
- Attendees will receive a $150 stipend following the completion of the workshop.
- No prior knowledge required.
