Power Up Your STEM Classroom!
Join educators from your community for a FREE, hands-on STEM professional learning experience focused on renewable energy, engineering design, and real-world problem-solving!
Throughout the day, participants will design, build, test, and improve wind turbine models using engaging KidWind investigations. You’ll also learn how to use Vernier technology to collect and analyze real data, explore classroom-ready STEM lessons, and discover practical strategies for bringing authentic engineering experiences into your classroom.
What You’ll Experience:
- Â Explore renewable energy and wind power
- Â Engage in hands-on engineering design challenges
- Build and test a KidWind wind turbine
- Â Collect and analyze data using Vernier technology
- Explore classroom-ready STEM lessons and activities
- Â Connect STEM learning to real-world careers and problem-solving
Each participant will receive a FREE KidWind Wind Experiment Kit to take back to their classroom and to use with students.
Free Lunch will be served to all teachers!
Whether you are new to engineering education or looking to expand your existing STEM program, this workshop will give you the confidence, resources, and hands-on experience to bring renewable energy and engineering to life for your students.
