We are a first-year wind team of two kids from Cooper Middle School in Northern Virginia. One of us did the solar challenge last year, but this year we wanted to participate in the wind challenge because we like experimenting and engineering. Overall, we tried over 10 blade designs and gearbox setups to maximize our energy output!
