We are the KidWind team from Yorktown, VA, and include Neel, Eddie, Megan, Sandeep, Honglei, Heet, and Rhett. We’ve been meeting weekly since September, at places from our school to the local library to Rhett’s restaurant, to make our wind turbine, and we are thrilled to be invited to compete at Worlds! KidWind has been an amazing way for each of us to apply our engineering knowledge, and we can’t wait to present our hard work in May.
