Bement Knots is a team of four 8th grade students from Bement Middle School in Central Illinois. Livia, Lucas, Sophie, and Wesley are first time Kid Wind participants and are excited for the opportunities this competition provides.

This is the Big Brainer’s first year competing in the KidWind Challenge. He has been excited to learn about wind energy and building his wind turbine.

We are a team of friends from Blevins Middle School in Fort Collins who enjoy the challenge of planning and improving our prototypes to make the best wind turbine design. We are very excited to be invited to compete at the World Kidwind Challenge.

We are Burlington Renewables, from Burlington Kansas. We made a solar powered grow light that moves back and forth to help grow grass.

Burlington KBLT was introduced to the Kidwind challenge in their intro to introduction to Engineering class. They have been learning AutoCAD, 3D printing, and principles around mechanical, electrical and fluid systems. KBLT is working hard at adding automation to their wind turbine powered by Arduino.

We are Caden, Isaac, Matthew. We are competing in the wind competition. We are from Burlington, Kansas.

We are a unique mix of high school boys. We range from gamers to extremely competitive athletes. Nevertheless, we all get along very well and are very goal oriented.

Coulee Joules is an all-female Middle School aged team from La Crosse, Wisconsin participating in their first year. Meeting Bucky after the win was awesome!
